Google Photos
Gen-Z is the first generation that has grown up through their phone. Because of this shift, photos are more than a time capsule — they are the building blocks of their identity.
When you can personalize your photos the way you imagined, they reveal a more complete story of you.
Our task was to drive iOS adoption and grow awareness with Gen-Z that Google Photos is there to help make our photos, well, more like us. We worked closely with an animation studio, Buck, to bring that vision to life through social and OLV.

Initial Design Explorations
and Storyboards 🚧
We explored various approaches to connect with Gen-Z's visual language, playing off the strategy, and highlighting how Google Photos allows you to connect the building blocks of your story.
Ultimately, we greatly simplified the design system to hero the UI and Google Photo’s key features, but I still have love for some early ideas!
