Wauna Lake Club
Growing up, I spent every summer at my family's lake house in Stevenson, Washington. My great-grandfather built our cabin with his shop class students, documenting every penny spent on a list scribbled inside one of our kitchen cabinets. I had the honor of updating the club's logo after 103 years of operation and creating shirts, totes, hats, beer glasses, coasters, and a plaque for all 50 cabins to enjoy.
Personal Project
Typography
The logotype was influenced by decades-old signs and books scattered around the club—the sign-in board, a buoy at the swim dock, and the hike signage throughout.
Logo
The Wauna Lake logo was inspired by its origin as a fishing club in 1919. I also incorporated the Columbia Gorge mountains, mirroring the view you see as you troll for trout in the lake.
